Relationship with Muslims in each of your countries.
« on: October 17, 2015, 11:15:36 pm »
Hello, recently the news about Islam violent is getting more intense and I believe there are some of our brothers and sisters around you who are Islam too, I'd like to know do they act hostile or just normal, and their viewpoints towards the violence in Middle East.

My my situation there aren't that many in my city (Chiang Mai, Thailand), I've discussed about Jesus and usually end up agreeing to disagree with different opinion. But that friend does not support the violence against non Islams.

Essentially I live in an area where there are not many Muslims, but there has been an increase in what is termed as "hate crimes" in this country and a reported increase of foiled terrorist attacks also, also as a member of Release International, which is the UK branch of Voice of the Martyrs, I am getting an increase of updates and prayer request of attacks in other country's by Muslims and other non Christian faiths on Christian.

It is handy that they have reports.
In the southern part of my country the Muslim population is more dense than other parts, I do have Muslim friends from that part of the country, but however, there are almost daily attacks involving Muslims sneaking in from Malaysia, even Thai Muslims were attacked too. But when a person from a Muslim family announced themselves as Christian, they are kicked out from the house, said supposed to be physically punished.

I live in a moderate Muslim country, where evangelism is illegal. It would be really easy to stand on a street corner and yell about Jesus and get arrested, imprisoned, deported, whatever the penalty would be; then I could claim to be persecuted, discriminated, etc., but would that have any benefit for anybody's soul? All the Muslims I talk to are friendly, seem like peaceful people, but I've also read from several sources that Islam commands followers to deceive "infidels" if it helps their jihad.
